Triovest received three awards at the eighth-annual Leadership in Environmental Advancement Program (“LEAP”) Awards from Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (“HOOPP”). The awards ceremony was held on June 20th at ArtScape Daniels Launchpad, a place for artists, designers and creators to connect and to push their creative practice forward.
“Triovest appreciates HOOPP’s recognition at the eighth-annual LEAP Awards,” said Alan MacKenzie, President, Triovest. “These awards provide our team with added encouragement to live our mission of creating sustainable places that enhance communities and enrich relationships.”
Triovest received three awards for excellence:
- Sustainability Innovator (Technology) – 1 Prologis Blvd. – This award was received because of the implementation of a PropTech Smart Building Analytics Platform and the resulting energy savings, quick payback period and replicability. Direct digital control units on variable air volume (VAV) boxes and the resulting strong projected energy savings and enhanced occupant comfort also contributed to this property’s success. 1 Prologis was also showcased at Realcomm in Las Vegas in 2018 as one of the world’s most successful implementation of smart building, representing the future of real estate. 1 Prologis Blvd. is a 143,959 square foot Class “A” office tower in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Energy Saver Award – Centrium Place – This award was won because of the ongoing lighting retrofits of tenant space and various operational improvements. Centrium Place is a 225,000 square foot Class “A” office tower located in the heart of Calgary’s downtown business core.
- Energy Manager (Industrial) – Gateway D – 2760 45th Avenue SE – This award recognizes the energy performance achieved from lighting upgrades and ongoing replacement of rooftop HVAC units. Gateway Business Park Building D is a 99,026 square foot industrial property located in Calgary, Alberta.
Special recognition goes to our teams in Ontario and Alberta for their hard work and commitment to Triovest’s sustainability initiatives.
