We have a clear framework to excel, and are improving systems for faster progress

Building on years of organic efforts from across the company, our approach to sustainability became clear in 2014 and we committed additional staff to accelerate progress. To ensure we focused on the right priorities and trends, we sought feedback from clients, tenants, employees, and suppliers, among others, and developed our Materiality Matrix. In our inaugural response we achieved Green Star standing in the 2015 GRESB Real Estate Assessment, and identified strengths and further opportunities for improvement. We expanded and updated our organizational sustainability-related policies, and established asset-specific energy, greenhouse gas emissions, water and waste targets. Furthermore, we published our first sustainability report, which was prepared in accordance with the Core option of the Global Reporting Initiative G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.

Building on entrepreneurial and innovative approaches from across the company, we are seeing continuous improvement in our organization-level sustainability performance.
